i am writing another ambient piece of music. i like YOUTH but now realise it's too raucous at the start which might put people off. the new one will be mainly piano based and very very spacious. it's because i wish i was haruka nakamura.
it'll probably be finished tonight but my software keeps stopping abruptly. i think i need to reinstall and cross my fingers.
this is a contact sheet of some photos i took on a camera my dad sent away for with weetabix tokens when he was a kid. it's broken, but the results are as follows:

in other news, Brand New's new album is brilliant. I shall be buying it when it is released.
For the last couple of days I've been helping out with the Cambridge Film Festival early programmes (and will be helping on the actual festival too), and last night was amazing. We inflated the massive half a ton screen next to a river, and the audience were to be sitting on the other side. We were screening the preview of Big River Man, an amazing documentary about Martin Strel swimming the entire Amazon river. He and his son came to the screening and hung out, said a few words to the audience, and then the film began. There was no wind and it wasn't really cold and the conditions were perfect. The film was fantastic and very very engaging. So impressed by the whole thing. If you want to see the a clip of the film you can go
here and click on pilot. here's some phone pictures of setting up the screen and the beautiful sunset.

Climate Camp was so much good clean fun. I went alone hoping to meet someone I knew, and I did! Then everything else that happened was great, it was so refreshing to live in that sort of environment, one that I talk about so much. Living with nearly no impact to the environment or animals, and being constructive and positive. I strongly recommend it for anyone next year.
I hope you are not worrying too much about anything.
